Our Team

Dick Mayo, RCDD

President and owner of R.F. Mayo Associates, Inc. since 1981 handling management and oversight of the sales staff.  Also handling select OEM accounts and national distributors in Colorado and Texas.

Prior to establishing R.F. Mayo Associates,Inc., Dick was a salesperson from 1976 to 1979 covering the Mid-Atlantic States for Chester Cable Corporation.  Dick later became their Eastern Regional Sales Manager and completed his career with Chester Cable Corporation as their Marketing Service Manager.  In this capacity Dick managed the inside sales group and handled marketing, advertising, and information on their Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPR) and Plenum cable development.

Dick also worked as a district salesperson from 1974 to 1976 covering New England OEM’s and distributors at American Electric Cable Company. Accounts included Pratt and Whitney, Kollmorgan, Raytheon, and all IBM subcontractors.

Dick is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), a member of BICSI, and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont.

Crystal Olsen, RCDD Crystal comes to R.F. Mayo Associates, Inc. with a long and successful career in the structured cabling, teledata communications, distribution, low voltage and security industries.  During that time she has held a number of sales positions and has worked in Colorado for Source Communications, Antec, Anicom, and Rexel Datacom.  Crystal is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), is a member of BICSI, and has recently done private consulting and project management for a number of leading Colorado contractors.

Crystal has a degree in business marketing and has lived in Colorado since 1984.   At the present time Crystal will be calling on end users, consultants, integrators, engineers, contractors, and distribution channels in Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming.

Phil Buhler

Phil has a long history in the wire and cable industry.   He established the first Anixter
location in Phoenix, Arizona and spent many years as the branch manager.   As an outside sales representative with RF Mayo Associates during his first tour with us, Phil was able to create specification positions with Mayo Clinic, City of Phoenix, Salt River Project, and many others.  Those specs are still in place today. While representing Chromatic Technologies, Phil sold miles of ADSS fiber which led to becoming Sales Representative of the Year. Phil has extensive contacts in the mining and power utility markets as well.

 Brynn Hartley Brynn has enjoyed her role as office and inside sales manager of R.F. Mayo Associates, Inc. since 1988 handling varies office functions including supervision of office and inside sales staff members as well as sales and marketing support functions.

Before coming to R.F. Mayo Associates, Inc., Brynn enjoyed varies positions with some Colorado companies including the University of Colorado at Boulder where she worked for IT as a data entry operator and programming assistant. She has also held a number of sales and customer service positions including Administrative Assistance to the Vice President of Sales at Identification Devices, Inc., Administrative Assistant to the Sales Manager at the Harvest House Hotel in Boulder, and the Customer Service Manager of the Guest Comment Card Department of AIRCOA (Associated Inns & Restaurants Company of America).

Through the years Brynn has taken on more of the accounting and financial functions at R.F. Mayo Associates, Inc., which she enjoys, and is currently working towards an Associate’s Degree in Accounting.
